Please Supplement Magnesium

Having quickly alleviated symptoms of general anxiety and developing heart palpitations, it is my moral duty to explain the significance of magnesium supplementation for those looking for a solution to their otherwise unexplainable health complications.

I like to experiment on my body.  General wisdom and knowledge handed out freely has always proven to be dogshit.  I'm also happy to document my experiments so that they may serve others.

For legal reasons, this is not medical advice.  Although the Medical Industry can also choke on a fat dick.

Brief Introduction

If I were to eat normal food like everyone else, I quickly gain weight, develop random pain, exhaustion, anxiety, chance having entire days of depression, and begin to develop various symptoms of degenerative disease. 

I've tried every diet.  Few of them give any longterm success.  Most of them attribute any measurable success to prolonged caloric restriction.  My goal is to find the diet that allows me to feel great while keeping my weight in control.

Both of my parents died fairly young of degenerative disease.  It comes as a dire warning to figure this crap out or suffer the same fate.

None of these Damn Diets Work

Tried them all, man.  People who go on 'keto' are always 400 pounds and boast about their 60 pounds lost in a year.  Good for them.  What if you're only moderately overweight and trying to look good?  Then there's carnivore - People tell stories of insane weight loss with ease.  I've found I can hope for no measure of weight loss without rigidly counting calories while adhering to a strict carnivore or elimination diet.

Matter 'o fact, most diets seem to work if you limit calories.  However, that offers no longterm solution if you have a manly appetite.  It comes far more natural to fast and feast.  This hard wiring is never going to go away.  Those who can graze like rabbits can attest to the success of portion control but for the natural-born fatasses like myself, we need to find hardcore solutions for a hardcore problem.

If human health falls down to little more than the self control necessary to restrict calories every waking hour actively working against hormonal signaling, then we are destined to fail and die as we entire old age and can barely abstain from crapping our own pants.

Anxiety

Even with adherence to a strict diet, I still found myself dealing with general anxiety.  The best way I can explain it is 'squirrel brain'.  Racing thoughts which are the antithesis of focus.  Despite eating exactly the foods that cured many people, I was still experiencing racing thoughts and no weight loss.

Depression

I have lost entire days due to depression.  The best way I can explain this feeling is to find absolutely no reward in anything.  The passion, spirit, and drive that makes us want to live life is gone.  I believe this is strictly chemical and has always been the result of the food I ingest the day prior.

I do not believe 'bad days' are a natural thing.  We don't wake up in a game of Russian Roulette wondering if it will be a good day or a bad one.  It is ALWAYS the direct result of whatever we put into our bodies the day before.

A Wise Decision

It would be wise to assume that there are people out there who have lived longer, experienced more, and found success in endeavors we've never even considered.  Fortunately, some of these people have written entire books explaining their success in great detail.

It would be safe to assume there might be a book out there with information you've been unable to find elsewhere that goes far deeper than any generalized knowledge that is freely available.  Such knowledge is absolutely worth paying for. After all, you get what you pay for.

So I picked up a book on Magnesium written by a doctor who has found great measurable success treating patients with Magnesium supplementation.  Seriously, start reading books if you don't.  People who find great success in life are happy to share their stories.  It's just like when you play an online game:  Once you have unlocked all the weapons and gold, you start handing that stuff out freely to low-level players.

Heart Palpitations

I began experimenting with a 'ketogenic diet' of which people have reported finding much success. With this new eating regimine, I would prioritize animal-based dietary fats, limit protein consumption, and restrict all carbohydrates to near-zero.

It is worth noting I refuse to use the term 'keto' which is a fad diet corrupted to hell by the online keto community.  This place would have you drink Miller Lite all day long if it fits your macros bro.  Reddit is gay af btw but I digress.

Within 48 hours, I began developing heart palpitations.  The experience can be explained as a shallow cough and a sudden tightness of the diaphragm.  A similar feeling to getting the wind knocked out of you.  It is a very scary feeling and always came after eating.  I could not say if my new diet was causing this problem or if I'd simply shined a light on a problem that had already been there.

I searched online for a possible cause and solution.  Even Dr Berg's videos proved unhelpful.  Again, you get what you pay for.

Reddit's advice proved to be dogshit fixating on supplementation of potassium.

Magnesium

After nearly two months on this new diet, not only had I not lost weight, but every time I ate, I chanced the palpitations returning.  

At this point, none of the mainstream stuff was working.  The teachings of Paul Saladino, Sean Baker, Eric Berg, or Kelly Hogan could aid me.   I was not experiencing the magical benefits like everyone else and their mothers while on any of these special diets.  It gets very frustrating when you really turn out to be a special case.

Facts and Shit

Most people are deficient in Magnesium based on the values established by the Medical Industry, an institution well-known to treat symptoms while never addressing root issues.

Dire Warnings and reports were written nearly a century ago warning of the depletion of magnesium from the soil and food supply.

The ratio of Calcium to Magnesium has fallen further out of balance.  We are ingesting far less magnesium than our ancestors.

The body can prevent against overdose of magnesium by flushing it out with intense diarhea.

Symptoms of Magnesium Deficiency include anxiety, depression, chronic pain, heart disease, high blood pressure, Nerve issues, and other degenerative bullshit.

Cured

It's now day three and I've not experienced a single palpitation.  In fact, I feel great.  Even better, my mind has not felt this calm in forever.  The squirrel brain symptoms of anxiety are gone.  While laying in bed at night, I would notice a high resting heart rate and a feeling I can only express as high blood pressure.  My shit felt fucked up.  That is now gone.

Seeing such amazing results in such a short amount of time, it behooves me to share this information with everyone I know and care about.  I will write about my findings as time goes on in the addendum below.

Addendum

I'll use this space to further write details on my experiences with magnesium supplementation.  If I disappear, maybe I died and the shit killed me.
